Beautifully located at the shore of a lake. We had a pleasant stay here, enjoyed the good food and thanks to the courtesy of the innkeeper we could some canoeing.
A luxurious lodge in a beautiful lakeside setting, richly decorated, comfortable rooms, delicious, generously portioned meals, and most of all the genuinely friendly staff. An unforgettable experience.
7 days of great hunting, good people, great accommodations. All guides went above and beyond to make sure hunts were successful.The hunt for me was once in a life time experuence.I would highly recommend it if your looking for your once in a lifetime hunt.
My husband and I booked our room not knowing that we would have the whole place to our selves on a fluke! Barb was hospitable and helpful from the moment we walked into the office to check in. We opted to have our dinner made for us by a local chef, at $40 pp with a starter and dessert, it was totally worth it. We slept like babies and enjoyed the sauna for as long we could handle. BUT, the best part was after we left, we did not listen to Barb's advice to NOT drive down the Underground Salmon Pool road due to the snow. We, of course got stuck, half way down the road, with no cell reception and were completely stranded. We walked back to the highway where I immediately called Barb and told her we were dummies and got our car stuck. She had Russ on his way in his big truck with chains to pull us out, before I could hang up the phone. He arrived within moments and pulled our SUV out of the pile. We were back on our way again with only about an hour lost. I cannot thank Barb, Russ and their staff enough for a truly amazing stay and hosting experience!
I visited Tuckamore Lodge for a week of snowmobiling and ice fishing. Had a wonderful time with the guides, who took me to a number of great fishing spots. Went on several extended trail rides and experienced lovely scenery and saw wildlife. If you are lucky enough to visit, make sure you have a side trip to the Remote Lodge at Whites Arm Pond. Meals were excellent and the homemade deserts even better. Best of all was the friendly and couterous staff, all of whom have become friends.
